Job Summary:
CRS promotes programs that integrate various sectors including education, youth development, water-smart agriculture, WASH, and emergency response. CRS Honduras also supports outreach efforts with local partners in the Caribbean, including the Dominican Republic and Cuba. In 2017, CRS´ programs benefited more than 81,000 men, women, and children in both rural and urban areas. CRS Honduras currently receives funds from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Labor, Private Foundations, the Government of Honduras and other donors. CRS Honduras continues to explore additional funding sources to complement and expand its strategic priorities and to act as a catalyst for change at scale. CRS Honduras helps children and youth thrive through providing holistic, inclusive educational and work opportunities. The country program also works with farming families to help them prosper through improved market and livelihood opportunities, while ensuring the sustainable use of water and soil as critical resources.
As a member of the Country Program (CP) Senior Management Team, you will provide strategic direction, leadership, and management of the CP's programming to ensure the establishment and successful implementation of high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. Your leadership, management and knowledge will ensure that the CP delivers high-quality programming and continuously works towards improving the impact of its programming. As part of the Senior Management Team you will proactively manage security and mitigate security risks.
