Job Purpose
Lead the National Office servicing of Mega and Major Donors from Support Offices who primarily support major fundraising campaigns and efforts. The “Country Host and Resource Development Officer” will collaborate with appropriate Support Office Departments and the appropriate National Office Departments (primarily the ND, Senior Leadership Team, ADP managers, Sector Directors/Managers, Finance and Supply Chain) to enhance the mega and major donor experience. The expected results will be increased financial support of NO programs; increased awareness of, and advocacy for the National Office programs and strategy by Mega and Major donors; as well as mutual transformation (donors and.
Beneficiaries, as well as SO and NO staff). The “Country Host and Resource Development Officer” will also lead or support proposal-development teams that may include internal as well as external members, and draft all or sections of high-quality proposals for institutional and private donors.
Main responsibilities
- Assistance to donors who visit the Honduras National Office, travel through so-called Field Visits and Vision Trip. This includes the understanding of objectives provided by the Support Office fund raising team and the validation of the national leadership of WVHN to plan strategically.
- Submit high-quality proposals and Support NO positioning & donor engagement.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in similar position.
- Bachelor's Degree required with preference in Communications, International Relations, Marketing, Community Development, or related field of study.
- Experience with non-governmental organizations
- Driving 4x4 vehicle
